My brain is totally fried. I finished Lab 5, and it’s ultra-cool if I do say so myself. Gonna knock off now and eat take-out Chinese while I watch last night’s Amazing Race. One the one hand, I’m hoping I can survive the death march to course completion. On the other, I’m having a lot of fun writing the content and exploring the depths of ASP.NET 2.0 and not having to travel so much.
I keep getting e-mail from people saying my MFC book is out of print and that used copies are going for up to $250. (No, I don’t have any to sell.) Funny thing is that the book has never stopped selling. I still get royalty checks from it, and it has outsold my .NET book many times over. I e-mailed Microsoft Press and got confirmation that it is indeed out of print. Sent a follow-up e-mail asking why. More soon.
