Power BI was originally released as a fully cloud-based, end-user targeted data visualization tool. Now it’s both a robust and scalable enterprise-level BI ecosystem. Microsoft has increased its ability to deal with a large volume of data both imported into and hosted outside the service to implement semantic models.

In this session, Wintellect Data Architect Armando Lacerda will demo how to design and implement (“aggs”) and take advantage of this powerful feature that will allow you to report on a virtually unlimited amount of data.

You will learn about:

  • When you will hit Power BI limits
  • Strategies to work with data volumes Power BI can’t support
  • Keep performance at acceptable levels
  • Have Power BI collaborating with data warehouse and data lake based solutions
