I tried unsuccessfully to add Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 manifest dependencies to 'CmnHdr.h' and instead added an '.manifest' XML manifest file relocating the existing 'Microsoft.Windows.Common-Controls' manifest dependency to keep these in together. Can this be done using 'CmnHdr.h' instead?
'VerifyVersionInfo' is to be replaced with the new 'Version Helper' functions etc...

I second (actually, it's probably like "millionth" when you count all the others that would love to see an updated version, but just haven't replied ;) the request for an update to this AWESOME book!! There's nothing else like it.

Does the zip file for the source code for the book Windows via C/C++ still exist somewhere? I recently obtained a copy of this book and would like to have the companion source code.
