This month has been a busy and productive one for me with Windows 8. In addition to the recorded webinar, The Top 10 Features Windows 8 Metro Developers will Love, I also participated in two interviews about Windows 8.
The first interview was with Jesse Liberty. I’ve known him for several years now. We’ve met at a few Microsoft conferences and shared a lot in common with Silverlight. Jesse recently moved on from Microsoft to work with my favorite control vendor Telerik. We now share some more in common because we are both writing books about developing applications with Windows 8 using C# and XAML. He was gracious enough to invite me onto his podcast to discuss my book and you can listen to the interview at Yet Another Podcast #68: Jeremy Likness and Windows 8.
I also recently got DEEP FRIED with good friend Chris Woody and his co-host Keith Elder over at the Deep Fried Bytes podcast. We focused on the topic of data on Windows 8 Metro and had a great time. I even managed to survive all of the Silverlight jokes. Head on over to Deep Fried Bytes and listen to Windows 8 Metro and the Data Story.
Thanks everyone for your support and as I work on the final chapters of the book I’ll be taking time to author a few new blog posts as well.
