Our Community Loses a Friend

I was shocked and saddened this morning to learn that David Boschmans passed away suddenly. David worked for Microsoft Europe and was one of my best Microsoft pals on the other side of the pond. I’ve been exchanging e-mail with him in recent weeks getting ready for TechEd Europe in November. I knew he was sick and had to take some time off work, but he never hinted to me how serious it was.

David was 32 years old. He leaves behind a wife and a daughter, which breaks my heart. If you knew David and would like to express your condolences, here’s a Web site where you can do so:

David’s passing is a sad reminder that life offers no assurances and that even life itself isn’t guaranteed. David, we’ll miss you.
